Walter G Deecki Sr
Retired Air Force/disabled vet. Retired Boy Scouts of America Professional. After retiring from the United States Air Force in 1992 and from the Boy Scouts of America in 2009, Walter Deecki Sr., began writing stories inspired by his own childhood and that of his four children, 12 grandchildren and the endless number of youths that came into his life. He likes to reminisce about his family life and all the characters in his books encompass their personalities.

Inspiration! This is a word that we encompass without realizing it. Why do we work? Why do we choose the one we love? why do we choose where we go on vacation? Because we find some sort of inspiration. That is why I write. I was inspired by something someone said, whether it was on the radio, TV or just a conversation. But most of all, my faith in God, family and friends. Inspiration is all around us. In the stars, beach, flowers and people.
